Hair

It can be tough to find the right hair care or styling products for ourselves,  let alone for someone else. Ojon haircare is wonderful and the restorative hair treatment (included in kit shown) is quite amazing.  Try one of the starter kits from Ojon (great for travel as well)

Bath and Body

There is an amazing selection of bath and body sets from Sephora and I couldn’t choose just one. I picked this Bliss set because its freshness reminds me of sunny Miami and I discovered Bliss Spa products in the W Hotel there. (these are the same ones provided in the guest rooms)

Skincare

Again there is so many facial skin care kits to pick from at Sephora and unless someone specifically asked for a brand/item, I don’t want to insult the recipient by offering the wrong formula (ie anti-aging) You know they love their skincare, why not get something to boost what they are using and will last a long time? My fave skincare item has to be the Clarisonic Mia facial cleansing brush, my skin loves it and can’t be without it!

Men

Yes men like grooming products too, but many of them are a tad shy to go out and look for the good stuff. Show him some TLC and pick out the products for him. Start w/ shaving products, its an easier transition for them; )

The Make Up Maven or Beginner

If she is just starting in the world of makeup, the gal may not know what to try first. Then there’s the makeup maven who has almost everything in that makeup bag, so what’s a little more to try…these are great to discover something new without buying full sizes. A new favorite is waiting to be found!

Makeup brush sets are a hot commodity at anytime as they are often a better value than buying separately. Quo makes some great sets this time of year, and of all the ones they have, this Master Set of 10 brushes (w/ brush roll) had the best variety to work with and at $7/per brush, a steal!

These Stila lip glazes are a great addition to any makeup bag. You could also separate the collection to make multiple gifts. Perfect for stocking stuffers and even the office secret Santa exchange.

 

Men

Skincare can be one of the toughest areas to get them convinced on the importance of it…just buy it for them and tell them how to use it. It make take a few tries to become second nature for them. Biotherm also has a wonderful men’s skincare selection year round.

 

Fragrances

This can be one of the toughest beauty items to pick at anytime. Fragrances smell differently on each of us and what I like you may not and so on. Shoppers Drug Mart makes these Vivaboxes every year. What a great way to shop for a new scent. There are several miniature fragrances in each box to try at their leisure AND it includes a certificate for a large size of the one they liked the most.

Insider tip: some gift & limited edition sets begin to arrive in-store by late October/early November.
